“正艺会”全新项目：“今天 ‘山水’有用吗？”
在“正向艺术研究会”这个总标题之下，继“露台计划之淮海中路1431号”之后，艺术家Alice 陈将于杭州发起并主理一个全新艺术项目：“今天‘山水’有用吗？”（以下简称项目）。
项目以Alice 陈的提问：“今天‘山水’有用吗？”来抛砖引玉，致力于以实验性的态度来制造思想和实践的能量交互场，从而激发感受力、思考力和创造力。本艺术家自发项目为非营利性质，不设置商业环节。项目计划为期三年：2023年4月至2026年6月。本项目的工作站点名为“PARC杭州”，位于浙江省杭州市西湖区东山弄小区内，仅内部邀约参访。
项目由「策·动」和「住·地」两个板块构成。
「策·动」平均三个月举办一期。就Alice 陈的提问，每期受邀的主理人将策划和实践一系列的行动，作为对此提问的回答。其系列行动的工作内容包括但不限于：在杭州户外的西湖山水间发生的事情/事件/行动/行为；名为“山水聊聊”的讨论；在注意到“纪录成为作品”这个现象与可能性的前提下自我设计和制作的资料册；以及位于“PARC杭州”的项目文献及作品的展陈。
「住·地」提供“PARC杭州”内的一间客房给对项目有兴趣或相关的艺术人士来驻地，时间一般以2周/人次为上限。

Contining the broad themes of artist Alice CHEN’s Positive Art Research Centre that was explored previously through Project Terrace @1431 Huaihai Middle Road, Chen is launching and directing a new art project asking “Is ‘Shan Shui’ Useful Today?”
Starting with this open question of Shan Shui’s modern relevance and adopting an experimental approach, the project is dedicated to creating a sort of energy field where thoughts and actions interact, therein stimulating the senses, thinking skills and creativity. This artist-initiated project is not-for-profit and has no commercial component.The project’s planned duration is three years, from April 2023 to June 2026. The project site PARC Hangzhou is located in the Dongshan Lane Residential Complex, West Lake District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Access to the site is by invitation only.
The project consists of two sections: “Curate • Act” and “Residence • Space”.
New installments of “Curate • Act” will be held every three months. In response to Chen’s question, an invited director for each term is responsible for planning and implementing a series of activities. They can include events, interventions and performances to take place within the West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou, and a discussion series titled “Shan Shui Chat”. Self-designed and -produced catalogues will be made cognizant of the idea that “the documentation itself becomes a work”, and project documents and works will be exhibited at PARC Hangzhou.
“Residence • Space” offers a guest room at PARC Hangzhou to art professionals interested or involved in the Project. The maximum duration of stay for each guest is usually two weeks.
